As a single parent, having as balanced a lifestyle as possible is premium to your mental health and your capacity to support your children to fulfill on your promises to them. Having a network of support is important to your survival in achieving balance. Seek out friends, relatives, neighbors as possible networks to rely on when you need to. Don’t overlook the network within your own household—your children. Children, according to age, can be taught to take on increasing levels of responsibility for tasks around the home.
