So you have your list of priorities all set up and you have them scheduled in your structure, your day seems to be humming and there’s still a sense of something missing. Things pop up in your day that throw you off-balance. How can you handle it?

I recommend three things

  1. Looking at how you end and start your day
  2. Monitoring your thoughts throughout the day
  3. Practicing a habit of sticking to your priorities, while saying no to everything else so you can maintain your center

With the latter, a structured calendar may not work best for you.

I’ve found with my clients that using a list of 5-10 tasks that must get done that day,  and starting with that list before any possibility of interruptions begin, help significantly.
